I don't think I'm a million miles away from securing Hazard. We got as far as trying to get through but there were some technical issues and he's had some personal stuff recently.

I'll get in touch with Micky again soon.

I'm always quite reluctant to talk to people still associated with the club. Although the club have been quite good behind-the-scenes with a couple of bits and pieces.

Good stuff all round.  Don't be worried about a no.. No's turn into a yes when people realise it's not a scam. It really is a great thing you are doing, keep it up. Fantastic idea, and application.

The Sam Parkin one is fantastic. Nearly 2 hours of listening to him just flew past. Great to hear him speak and say how he is basically now ‘one of our own’. Also helps that he is a really interesting, articulate speaker.

Oliver Risser's on FB as well, but I think Tans knows him better.

Have now completed my 'catch-up' and have thoroughly enjoyed listening to these.

Thanks very much Costanza/Rich for doing them!  Keep 'em coming, please!

I've also been catching up. Paul McAreavey is really interesting. I remember him coming on against Oldham and scoring. He did look good that day.

I messaged him a couple of months ago with no response. Not uncommon!

That's great. Although before my time, it would be good to hear from more players from the 60's and early 70's, even the 50's if you can find one!

Lovely bloke, I used to fix his PC for him when I lived in Swindon, always used to speak about THAT night in Napoli with the armed Policemen sheltering in the Swindon dressing room and the escort out of the stadium, great to listen to.

It’s not easy so that’s why I’m really happy Joe participated!

Half way through this one, think it's my favourite so far because I know next to nothing about the era beyond watching the 69 final on a VHS at my uncle's.

Think the whole pod should be renamed "Nae monkey after Thursday", big fan of that.

Thanks a lot. Well worth listening to.

It seems Dave MacKay wasn't all bad. I seem to remember it was him who deflected Rogers' shot over the Derby goalie in that 1-0 League Cup quarter final win.
