FGR shoot from 25 yards well high and wide.

FT 1-1 probably a fair result, I think we just about shaded it but not by much.

Nelson and Knoyle my 2 MoM today.

We weren't great, but it's an away point.

Ah well so much for a clean sheet and three points. On the flip side an away point is not all doom and gloom.

Bit of a change to have a dull half this season. We needed to use the ball better on the rare occasions we got it forward second half.

Win at home and draw away and we will clinch a top three spot.

Get some defenders and we will have an even better chance.

Looked a bit like the Crawley game sapped the legs in the 2nd half after a good bright start to it.  Defended better though, the changes made a big difference and once FGR started to tire at the end we looked dangerous.  Fair result over all I think.  After the Lincoln game, two much better away performances bar two nutcases.

Today we missed a defensive midfielder sat in front of the back 4, I am still not convinced that Taylor is good enough with his set pieces to warrant his place as defensively he is a weak link, Lancashire played better but again I am not convinced by him, Nelson looks better every game as does Knoyle.

I think Anderson had a pretty good game, defended better 2nd half and created some good chances, Alzate was wasteful and takes too many touches when a pass is better.

Doughty was solid as always but needs to improve his defending a bit when we don't have a natural defensive midfilder playing.

McGlashans poorest game in a Town shirt so far, went missing for too long, was swapped between left and right and didn't get into the game.

Smith was another contender for MoM, he ran around a lot, broke with the ball and made some good tackles, he is getting better every game too.

Vigs did very little wrong and made some good claims for crosses and a couple of saves.

Richards is not a target man yet 1st half we continued to play him as such and thats not his game, Bayo looked better suited when he came on and did ok.

McCourt settled the midfield when he came on, Iandolo looked a bit lost in his cameo.

Over all an away point is good, we are still a couple of players off a decent side but at times we played some good football but at times hoofed it too often up to Richards when better options were available.

FGR look a much better side than last season, passed the ball well and made some chances but defensively and keeper wise they are woeful.

Not losing is OK, I suspect there isn't a whole lot between most clubs in Div 4 this season.... although we've been focussing mainly on the defence.... we still look short of a body up front. Elijah is a kid, so will be up and down  Rico, isn't a target man.

Perhaps Kaiyne Woollery can do something to help, when he gets back...
