it never occurred to me at all that Taylor shouldn't shoot. Not for a second.

The mistake was Richards alone. it happens. He's played a fair few minutes in a short space of time after a serious layoff. Fatigue is probably a fair excuse, bit that he used it.

No outstanding saves... just solid goalkeeping. Kicked well, claimed cross after cross, made the saves he had to make.

His superman save was pretty damn good - I thought it was in.

Funny how we defended better with 9 than we did 11.

Yes his full length dive was pretty good I agree, didn't look close to it until he fully stretched at the ball.

We were good up until certain players decided to fuck it up. To be so disappointed with an away point speak volumes. Plenty of positives to take from it, plenty.

I daresay both Dunne and Diagouraga were asked to get stuck in by PB.

Either challenge would have been a yellow relatively recently and probably not even a card back in most of my years.  Now it seems getting stuck in is shirt pulling, arms around and then letting go, that sort of thing.

Seems Crawley fans weren't very impressed with us Cheesy

Quote
Swindon were nothing special just dirty cheating cvnts.

Swindon aren't a particularly good team but were made to look it

Swindon's time wasting tactics were shameless, only exacerbated by a ridiculous referee who allowed it to happen. How do you add on 8 minutes but not book anyone for time wasting? That said, the delicious irony of the equaliser coming in the last minute of that lengthy stoppage time was almost fattening. If they hadn't been so busy time wasting, the whistle could have blown about four minutes before we even got the penalty. Tee, and may I add, hee.

Hardly surprising, I don't think there are too many Town fans impressed with us.

So TBH was Toums, who it appears was after the players bollocks but missed and clattered into the players shin on his trailing foot. Both red cards in any league in the last 40 years.

Which was a real shame as Toums was playing very well at the time.

It was nice to see a team actually worse than us defensively.

Their first half performance was right out of Luke’s Defending for Fuckwits manual.

One of the good things about Div 4, is that there are usually a few proper shit teams about, who can have a particularly terrible day.

So for example both Morecambe and Crewe have gone for a sixer already... to me we look like the sort of side who could dish out the six, but just as easily be on the receiving end.  It's been a while since we administered a six of the best caning...

I thought their defence was pretty shocking all game and if we had 11 v 11 then we would have got several more than we did.

Their finishing was woeful too. They are a very poor side and even though they passed fairly well they didn't make many good chances and defensively they will really struggle this year.

The bloke that came on in midfield called Camara looked like he had never kicked a football before, one of the worst players I have ever seen, looked more like a basketball player.

I don't think we have looked like conceding 6 in any game under Brown ever, even at our worst we aren't anywhere near that shit level. As for a 6....Port Vale in 2008 but we have dished out a few 5's since then too.

That was Col U's first 6 goal win since 1996.

Yep... remember the PV game, last game of season under Malpas, they were down.  We had nothing to play for.... Coxy didn't score. They had a 17 year old kid making his debut, he's now a copper.

Their forum is pretty sparsely populated to say the least, much like the home fans in attendance last night!
