Are you Wild Al too?

Alas not. I have no knowledge of Swindon beyond the radius of the Train Station, Town Centre and the County Ground.

Get hold of Nick Judd if you can, used to work at the club for a few years and has a few interesting stories to tell. He is a regular on twitter, nice chap too.

Yeah, I've been in touch with Nick. I'm sure he'll be a guest in the not too distant future.

Ivo Graham is on our London Reds Watsapp, I could put a message out for him? (although he is a bit busy in Edinburgh at the moment)

That would be good, thanks. I think I've got enough to get me through August but that'll be good.

Episode 4 was recorded last night - sound isn't as good as I want it to be but that's something I've got to deal with until I can get better kit.

It's clear though... it's going to be in two parts.

Cheers folks.

Chris Tanner would also be interesting - head of media during PdC's reign.

That one would be exclusively questions from listeners...

Like, what he thought about his unofficial fan club and whether he got his driveway re-done.

Yeah, Reeves would have seen a lot.

I think people will still get lots of good stuff from ex-players who were there but perhaps only played 0-10 games.

I should definitely draw out a 'holy grail' list.

Tell you what Rich, as I said on Twitter i am fucking loving these.

It's interesting to hear certain events and things you remember from a fan perspective bring told from a player.

Case in point here, Paul Hart . Was expecting something different from 'fat boy', but he basically thought the same as us regarding the negative tactics!

Then there are the things that go on that you don't hear about at the time.

But line someone said, all the ex player ones were excellent, even players that nearly but didn't made it.

The Benjamin Wills one didn't age well, by the time I listened to it half the trialist players bring discussed were out the door Smiley My fault!

Cheers Batch.

I was tremendously reluctant to do a current events Town podcast for the very reason you have stated but the demand seems to be there. I’ll do a monthly update plus an emergency episode if something crazy happens.

Ex-players, staff and even fans has always been the aim. I might also do general discussion topics with a Town slant (ie transfer market, rivalries, ownership...)

Getting Ferry on has increased expectancy. Most of the guests are likely to be less popular than Simon but hopefully people will keep listening.

I will also upgrade equipment when I can justify it. Still early days.
