Conroy is ready tbf. The reason for his later return was not related top last season he is fully recovered from that he just rolled his ankle a few weeks ago

Have some faith. I have every confidence Audrey will be fully match-fit and raring to go come August 4th

Audrey may well be flying, what with all the gas he is apparently inhaling?

We lost 5-0 (Cervi, Salvio Grimaldo, Pizzi (pen?) and Conti)

@SLBenfica on twitter

Salvio's just finished playing for Argentina at the world cup. Benfica put out quite a strong team!

Benfica’s goals from today.
No Vigouroux by the look of it.

Thanks for the video, it just highlights how much we need two central defenders.

Answering my own question what to do about it?   I guess PB has a pretty good idea if Lancashire and Conroy are going to be back.... at all/any time soon.  Assuming they will be, it's understandable, not to waste a full contract..... so we should get in a couple of loan kids or maybe use the players with no club pool once the window closes, like with Preston and McGivern.   Far from ideal, as it means no time to work on defensive organisation.  However it's where we are.

PB stated in the last few days that a striker and 2 experienced CB's were his priority signings, I am sure he is aware of the situtation and will do something in the next 2 weeks about it and pull one ut of the bag, much as he has done with Diagoraga.
