The next day thing probably is the biggest problem, if you ever thought you might have been you probably were. Don't do it people.

No.

I did drive home from Stoke the day after a heavy session the night before, not feeling tip top, so probably should have given the hangover a bit longer to ease. It was probably the shock of seeing Magera score against Vale.

I used to have a couple of beers and drive... in my early 20's, I was pulled over and failled a breathalyser test.  The consequences would have been job loss as needed a licence. I've always worked on the basis of accept responsibilty for your actions, so was prepared for it.  However I passed the urine test  Smiley

Never as much as a glass of wine since... I also moved into Old Town, so that I could always walk to a pub... a situation that still is the case.

Well your moral opprobrium for anyone who made a bigger mistake than you is sort of understandable. As is your suspicion of life beyond the safe confines of Old Town.

Is that because you don't drive?

Yes. And anyone who has had a heavy session one night, then driven in the afternoon the following day almost certainly has too.
Nowadays I don't drink at all if I'm driving the next day, it's just not worth the risk.

Who was that? Cheesy

I've never driven directly after drinking more than the legal limit, but I've driven to work the morning after when I've likely still been squiffy. Tend not to drink at all now if I'm driving.

I don't like being booed. I prefer people cheering me.
