Just hope we don't rue another missed chance

That's the worry, they are at a premium.

Sterling's our main guy who can open it up for others, doing an excellent job in my opinion.

Some people at work are talking as though the world will come to an end if they get lose tomorrow; there will be another chance in 2 years for the Euros and another 4 for the World Cup again - your squad is still young for goodness sake.

spoken like a German.

most of us don't get this opportunity often. it's taken 28 years to get back here and this world cup has been unusual.

It would be interesting to see how many teams have lost to another in the group stage and beat them in the final, could happen again this year. Some odds you would get on that.

The only time thus far I can think of was 1954

I’d prefer Belgium to win, but have felt France were favourites long before it started.

Although if they do win it, it’ll be despite Deschamps not because of him. And I had my money on them, and only them, long before the WC began, which I mention so as to not show my 20-20 hindsight.

Belgium are by far the better team therefore want France to win purely from England's pov
