Gonna be getting a lot of support if we end up playing Croatia, at least!

Russia are like Sweden, I'd prefer them. Croatia are very like us. That would be 0-0 or 1-1 and pens

They all look knackered. There's going to be some misses here I reckon.

Glad Croatia won. Technically much better side and makes for a good semi final.

Completely agree, plus if there is going to be a backlash from the Russian hoolies at getting knocked out, I'd rather our lot weren't on the end of it

Who would everyone pick for the semi-final then? Personally I still think Rose would add much more attacking threat, but I can understand Southgate's persistence with the same line up seems to be paying dividends. Sterling has definitely offered more the last couple of games, while at the same time continuing to frustrate.

I keep thinking it would be typical of England to fuck up here, so I'll just enjoy it while it lasts.

Not sure "fuck up"  is quite the phrase even if we lose the semi, we've massively exceeded expectations getting this far. And played some nice football along the way

I don't mean I've been thinking that since we won earlier, I mean I've been thinking that prior to our games vs. Colombia and Sweden.
