I actually looked at his Wiki to check after I had posted and it is Chester, I was more shocked to see that he played the most games at Liverpool, I assumed it would be Fulham.
I actually like his co-commentary as if the game is shite he sounds as bored as the rest of us!
I don't really have a view on the commentating in general other than the usual Brazil fawning and other cliches which is annoying of course but generally I just tend to tune it out. Out of the pundits I love Bilic. I also like that Argentinian bloke whose name currently escapes me. Much as I hated him as a player Neville is a great pundit.. Edit: I actually meant Gary although to be fair I think Phil is fine as well. I don't really get the hate for him.. |

How any ref can watch that replay 4 or 5 times and give Iran a penalty is beyond me.
Then he's giving Ronaldo a yellow for what he perceives, i assume, to be a deliberate elbow. It's a red card or it's play on. Total bottle job giving a yellow.
VAR is making for farcical yet compelling viewing. Would be funny if it wasn't likely to go against England at some point for some ridiculous incident. I can see it now.
