In a pub with a load of Brazilians.

A dusky beauty was going round hugging everyone before kick off.

I didn't get one.  Sad

Come on Costa Rica.

An hour into the Brazil v Costa Rica game and they've managed a grand total of 1 shot on target between them. Samba football, indeed.

I think Neymar is going to cry.  Itll be the best thing he's done in the tournament.

I think that penalty being overturned is my highlight of the tournament so far.

Fair play to the ref for changing the decision via VAR.

Brazil are ordinary.

No free spirits anymore.
Maybe because they all just play by numbers in the big European leagues now.

Late goal. Tough on Costa Rica.

Yeah, they've just cum.

Neymar does a pointless piece of skill against a knackered costa rican team and then scores a tap in.  Clearly we can rewrite it into a joyous celebration of free flowing football.  Brazil on ITV, the very worst combination for commentary.

I imagine if we have a Portugal/Brazil final with Neymar and Ronaldo the commentary box would end up looking like this by the end...

The BBC commentators were practically in tears when we dicked Brazil 7-1 at the last World Cup.
Oh and Neymar is vastly overrated

I don't think that's completely true. That game was era defining and if the commentators were being solemn then they were reacting to the atmosphere within the ground.

Even the German players, Schurrle aside, toned it down in the second half. Could and should have twisted that proverbial knife even more.
