Where are Richards, Conroy, Dunne, Woolery, Azante? Just not playing them in this game?

First team are playing against Melksham so I imagine this is mainly for the trialists to impress.

Tweetybird including non Town fans, having a(n) meltdown/excuse to moan/anti-wank over McCormick.

Think it's 0-3

Don't need to. The media got in a wank frenzy about it (as did many others) when he was only on trial with a potential community role being offered.

Of course since then, he's played for the Scum and for Plymouth again. Which I would say would be a lot harder for the families involved in the drink driving incident. However, I'm also certain he's had to deal with the mistake he made in a totally psychological way.

Don't need to go over old ground. Many of us whilst driving have been under the influence. It should be zero tolerance. Period.

Just back, not much to report really. Its a preseason friendly, what do you expect (plus I'm knackered, so didn't fully concentrate).

First half was fairly standard pre-season. Took a while to break them down. Mullings looked handy, but its Ciren Town  who are of good standard, but nowhere near league - so you can't really judge . Oldham from memory did no more than OK. McGlashen didn't stand out.

Second half we looked a bit sharper and faster in pass. Knoyle was bombing on down the right, but largely ignored. Brighton kiddy looked to have a bit of pace while dribbling, look forward to seeing more. Anderson looked lively. But we fell asleep a bit in the last 5.

Oh and Pook is getting a middle age spread.

Thanks for the brief summary Batch we sound like we did ok with 2 seperate teams.

I am not overly disappointed Moore won't be playing for us this year TBH he was almost as dodgy as RCC at times, I do hope we get another keeper in as competition for Vigs as I don't think Henry is enough on his own and I am not convinced about McCormick or the reaction towards him.

I thought people were saying Robertson had left us, that doesn't seem to be the case as he played last night.

Still a win is a win and its all confidence boosting and getting players to fitness that matters most.

Interesting to hear PB say that he prefers 2 strikers if he had them rather than a lone striker.

Shamir Mullings is a huge lump but with a poor scoring record it seems but if he can play the target man role...who knows, Nile Ranger didn't have much of a scoring record but was a very good target man. Not a massive surprise either as PB had him as a youngster at Southend.
