Did it years ago when McMahon was in charge, brilliant few days. Mark Walters was great to watch in close quarters.

We did it 3/4 years running.. I was only a kid, it was great fun!

That was the year your dad and others dyed their hair blonde. 🙂

I remember Hoddle & Gorman taking the team to Holland for one pre season tour, apparently after the last game the team were almost as pissed as the fans that had gone. Smiley

The irony is that the players would get slaughtered on Social Media now

I was serving in Germany at the time... spent the weekend with the team, it was a bit surreal sitting pitchside with the team between games.  Seem to recall Gorman being a cracking bloke

The two Holland trips I went on were great. I've still got my 'borrowed' Heineken apron.

Gorman was certainly a cracking bloke on the first Finland tour - very personable and accommodating. In contrast (and this is not a criticism), McMahon showed no interest in being fan-friendly on the second Finland tour.

Last time we played West Brom in a friendly I ended up in hospital for 5 days.

Not really relevant at all I know, but every time I think of West Brom now I think of never ending nosebleeds.

I remember some years ago sitting in the Arkells with some TEFers, when that happened.... was it this game?

However we played them a couple of years back, so perhaps that

It can’t be, remember the two owners have fallen out so there isn’t going to be any game between us Wink
