Great. So after being told for months that STFC were going on tour to the Republic of Ireland, we are told with ten days' notice that they are going to Spain instead! Thanks for thinking of the fans who wanted to travel. I had already bought my Irish Euros, now I will lose on the exchange rate when I swap them to Spanish ones.

I'll give you 0.8 Spanish EUR for every 1 Irish EUR. HTH.

We were told the manager had visited Waterford & Dublin to make arrangements for friendlies in Ireland. All seasoned travellers  like to plan ahead for cheaper fares, better exchange rate etc.

The Spain news is like a red rag to a bull.

If you contacted the club and they said 'yep, it's happening' then I'll wind my neck-in otherwise it's just unfortunate.

Pre-season isn't really about the fans but I'm sure they appreciate the time and support.

Enjoy Spain.

Am I being thick here? Can't you just use any euro in any member state?

http://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/sport/16252003.phil-brown-seeking-strong-backroom-staff-at-swindon-town/
includes:

'Brown also made the trip to see goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux play for Waterford in a visit to Ireland, which also doubled up as a scouting mission as the club look to finalise plans for a pre-season tour

"That's why I went over to Waterford, I travelled to Dublin on Monday afternoon and then I went to see the facility at Waterford," added Brown.'

Why do I waste my time on you drongos?

If you are trying to make a joke about the currency, you've already been called out on it. Wooshes do not apply from this point on.

If you are genuine... the club did not confirm they were going to Ireland so you only have yourself to blame. Also, if you are genuine, The Euro is the Euro no matter where you go you fuckwit.
