Interesting that Cov's game in hand is a tricky game with Lincoln.

All 3 sides have away and home matches sequentially. On paper all three sides have 'winnable' games.

They key is Coventry not winning that game in hand on the 24th.

Carlisle and ColU can still get to 73 points, which could be enough, so should be included.

Both could be above us come 5:00  Saturday.

If Coventry and Mansfield do not finish ahead of us, the league is a farce.

thanks quagmire, think it's fair to say everyone has an 'easy run in' now, that Lincoln game aside for cov.

I'm excluding our Accrington game, hopefully they'll be playing it out so they can pick up the trophy

Doesn't help us though, we've consistently shown ourselves unable to pick up the "easy" points, under both Flitcroft and Brown.

ColU could deliver some blows to others, effectively they're all 6 pointers. Difficult, but 3 wins and a draw or 4 wins could do it, so they're not quite out of it yet.

If 3 wins and a draw is enough for Colchester then by your logic 2 wins and a draw is enough for us. (It isn’t)

Last season ColU got 69 for 8th place, not quite enough as Blackpool got 70 and 7th.  3 wins and a draw give ColU 71....I assume you've crunched the numbers as to why that will be insufficient this year.  Please explain....

Well, if 10 points ‘might do it’ for Colchester (getting them to 71) then, surely, 7 points ‘might do it’ for us (getting us to 71).

2 wins and 2 draws might just about do it.... however we've only won 2 of the last 10.  Cov are in pole position, they will have to fuck up big style to miss out on 7th

You mean like losing 6-2 at home to a team we drew 2-2 with? Wink
