If you cannot beat Morecambe at home then you are not good enough to be in the top 7.

That’s the stark reality

Rose almost fighting with Mullin after the whistle, lots of pushing and pulling.

Ah well. If you can’t beat a team at home who are 19th in the league then you don’t deserve to be in playoffs.

4 points from Browns first 3 games is hardly promotion form

Rose was gobby all game. Don't know how he escaped a card.

We don't deserve play offs, we just can't score enough goals despite creating a lot of chances, the defence looked better today though without Robertson hindering things.

Don’t get me wrong, Morecombe were worthy of their point. Swindon never looked like scoring in open play and it took a dodgey penalty decision for us to score.

Morecambe were among the poorest sides we have played (and there have been a lot) they created nothing and couldn't string 3 passes together, proper old school hit and run side.

We should have beat them and we deserved to beat them by 3 or 4 goals on possession and shots but we can't score.

Every cross we put in was somehow shinned over the bar or wide by a loose foot of a defender, their keeper made a few good saves but we have to beat these sides and we didn't today, on another day it could have been 4 or 5.

It's that lingering hope that gets you...I'm sure I felt like this last season when clinging onto staying up. Still on a more positive note, looks like my 11-fold will pay off. Pint

That was like virtually every home game this season. Played OK in parts, looked rank average in parts. I was convinced Morecambe would score an own goal with the number of fizzed in crosses that their defence shanked all over the place.

Simple fact, though, their keeper didn’t have a shot to save.

I do like the look of Knoyle and Mayonnaise put in some real crunchers and played well. Morecambe were quite neat at times but did fuck all, really.

I’ll be glad to see the arse end of this season.

Well done with the 11 up.  Win much?

Maybe I dodged a bullet with the BH traffic. That's it for 17/18.  Today's fixtures perfectly set up for a win to really move us into contention.  If you can't beat Morecambe (or even Morecombe) then......

This. Richards looked well out of sorts today and without him we didn't look like scoring. Played some good football at times but not enough threat to win a game. Anderson was a waste of space, Norris better than I expected, although it would appear he has a clause in his contract that prohibits him from rising more than 6 inches off the ground.
