Apologises if this has been mentioned before. But, I see that STFC are at the tender stage of a £1,000,000 Pavilion Building on the County Ground Playing Field.  Projected start date May '28, completion date May '19.

Architects, Planners Civil Engineers and Structural Engineers are all in place as part of the Consultant Group.

Presumably FITC thing. Got the nod through by SBC last week ?  much to the disgust of the local dog shitters.

Nowt to do directly with STFC, other than FITC wouldn't exist without the club.

I guess start date later than finish date is a typo..... although if SBC are in any way involved you never know

From the Adver last month

‘Swindon Borough Council is in discussion with Swindon Town Football in the Community (STFITC) Trust about leasing a new pavilion and building a full-size artificial grass football pitch.

On Wednesday, councillors will receive an update on the plans at a cabinet meeting. They will be asked to authorise a 25-year lease for the land and a £215,000 budget to fund the works.’

It's in the name of Swindon Town Football Club Limited. It's a two storey, 800 sq m building. The Architect is Macdonald Design Limited of Coulsdon, Surrey.  There is an artists impression on the site I'm looking at.

Sounds exactly like it. If they've got the start date wrong, they've probably got the client wrong too, will be FITC

Having found the link in your link. It looks a smart choice. Great project for FITC and all the benefit from it. Great stuff.

It is the FITC building - the address in the bottom right hand corner of the floorplan is the same as MacDonald Design

Looking at some of their designs it seems like they must have a job lot of exterior wood clading and white paint :-)
