Pre match not quite in the Cultural Quarter in The Square Sail. But of a trundle by train to get here. The derelict malthouses outside Sleaford are quite impressive. A STFC following milestone of sorts today. This will be the 92 current clubs visited. Seven short on current grounds. Death will come before getting a chance to visit some of those. The Romans, Danes, Normans and the Police Interceptors have all emerged victorious here. No reason why some streetwise Moonrakers can't do the same. Although The Spartans at Thermopylae is a more likely scenario. Flitcroft as modern day Leonidas. Might lose the battle but the campaign can still be won.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change? Crap!

Probably a good place to get a rare draw. They seem to have a decent squad for this level and see them challenging come May.
1-1.
A draw would be massive. Lincoln are one of Div 4's big hitters, I expect them to fill the auto slots with Luton and Mansfield. Be interesting to see if Flitters sticks with Tuesday's line up or is tempted by the seeming physicality of Mayo.

Leonidas.... leading scorer at the 38 WC, acknowledged to have invented te overhead kick. Not sure that's quite how I see Flitters.

Not expecting a chant of "it's just like watching Brazil". Whatever happened to ironic terrace humour.

My local game, will drop the missus in town & pop across to Sincil. Loads of banter at work this week but I reckon we'll steal a 0-1 (Preston) in a scrappy, physical game

Thanks Flash, that's good of you, putting the Town before your liver.

I think it's too much to hope for game to be as exciting as the last time we played them at Sincil Bank (donning orange caps - those were the days!!). I would be delighted with a point as I would have to go into hiding if they did the double over us.
Think we will lose 3-1.
Especially with your recent record of attending games and the subsequent defeats!

Hopefully PV will have time to do his commentary. Much appreciated from another who can't get it on the radio. I can't see past a loss today though unfortunately. Hoping to be very surprised!
I can certainly do that for you

Not expecting a chant of "it's just like watching Brazil". Whatever happened to ironic terrace humour. It got lost in PC. OK some of it was a bit sledgehammer, and not particularly subtle. But was "he's got a pineapple on his head" to Jason Lee really racist? Was enquiring of Brighton fans if their bf knew they were at the match really homophobic? Or exhorting female assistant referees etc to reveal natural upper body endowments, sexist?

Predicted the last 4 outcomes so expecting my run to come to end today. Tough call. Similarly to Stevenage. Obviously would love a win but can't see it. It's a while since Taylor scored so I'll go for him, from a free kick or a meander into the box. I'll say Rollin will start with Preston. That mans dropping the captain but IF Rollin is the answer then him and Preston would be a better pairing than anyone else. I know nothing.
1-1 (Taylor, 58) Banks booked Talking point: Vigs on the bench Att: 8,263

Lincoln are one of the big hitters in the league and we sign a youth player on loan from Bristol Rovers, yes, times have changed.

I'll say 2-2 but I haven't forecast a correct score all season. We're overdue a draw.
