Have you looked at train prices? I looked a couple of weeks ago and it was going to cost about £80 return from London.

Not sure what allocation we will get considering the amount of season tickets holders they have this year. However strongly recommend as they certainly know how to create an atmosphere.

The issue is trains back. Cheapest one is £74 and have to change 2 times.

For that reason, I'm out.

About 1/2 the distance of a home game, would be rude not to go

I'll be going to this. Probably by car. Certainly not train.

Lincoln fans create a great atmosphere to be fair.  We will probably be given most of the Stacey West stand...about 1500.   They are excellent at home as well and are really well organised.  My son has a season ticket with them, so he will be in with them.  I wont be!  CoYR

The only time I ever enjoyed a trip to Lincoln was when TalkTalk drove a few of us up there a decade ago in a Dangerfields Mini Bus.  Used to get dragged up the ruddy hill to the castle when visiting family and it always seemed to take longer to get to than other locations of the same distance.

My nephew is a fan so I'll probably go up and stay at his place

Some of the train fares you're quoting would get you a small farm with 5 bed farm house in Lincolnshire
