Sad  Not been a great day.

I remember my first sighting of Willie was scoring a couple at the CG for Newcastle in 64. Thought at the time he looked a decent player so was very happy when he signed for us.  That 6-1 reverse stood as our worst scoreline at the CG in my time, until Ipswich stuck 6 on us without reply.

Very sad news.

You weren’t a Town fan during my upbringing unless you could name the 12 who played in ‘69.

So long, Willie.

Great little player, no doubt would have had more appearances had we not had John Smith playing in a similar position. Glad he got to play in the famous Wembley win. R.I.P.

Still no acknowledgement from the club regarding this. Poor show imo.
At least they let us know Vigs’ next game is his 100th in a town shirt though!
