Sorry I know it's been done already but that's just how I will always think of them thanks to the advert below...

2 for 2 on MDT starting this season so hopefully the streak continues. 3 points however scrappy and/or dull are vital to get the wheels back on.

I'll go with 1-0 Preston...

Massive game, Flitters needs to stop the rot. I suppose it depends on whether we can put out a viable XI, but the conditions will be grim and might bring Stanley down to our level.

A nice dour 0-0 would do just fine.

Pre match surrounded by wistles (Birt & Ent) and bottoms (Higgin & Rams) in The Commercial Hotel.

Hopefully we will enjoy what we do at the Wham Stadium today.
Just stopped snowing, which is good.

Not confident but you never know with our lot.
Conditions won't be helpful for a free flowing passing game, but might be ok for us.

Start the car!

Go one down, then fluke a late equaliser. I'd be more than happy with that.

Good stuff, as usual, WB!  Cheesy  Although it took me a few moments to get the wistles and bottoms bit. I must be getting old!  Nice inclusion of a 'Bumble-ism' too.

As for the match.....I can only see number 5.

Bit poor that, they had an inspection at 1030, should have just called it off then seeing what the forecast was like

Result... avoided defeat. A chance to regroup and try and get a few bodies back.

Oh well. Time for another beer and then find a train heading south.
