A bit of fun

Survey doesn't include travel or booze and seems to presume satellite tv

Apparently it cost GBP 15.00 to see a home goal last season which made STFC goals the costliest amongst our new Lg 2 peers.

Better value this season but only away?

Swindon Town
You could spend
£589.79
following Swindon Town this season
Tickets   £152.00
Pies   £28.00
Teas   £16.80
Programmes   £24.00
TV sport subscription   £324.00
Replica adult shirt   £44.99

Which is rubbish as I never eat and drink at Swindon and what is that £324 on TV sport subscription all about? I have freeview so my total spend is £0. Might get the away shirt this year so that amount is probably correct.

That said I also would have to add in train travel and pre and post match beers so perhaps that figure isn't a kick in the arse off what I spend (Based on 8 home games a season)

Not really accurate for me as I usually get my tickets through my mate who works for Nationwide... And I almost never eat at the stadium or buy a programme. Travel is the biggest expense for me!

Do beer and narcotics to make it bearable count towards the total? If so, a small fortune.

According to my results the average weekly wage for a L2 player is just shy of 2k  Hmmm

Cost me a fortune. Not missed a game this season and taking the kids adds more expense.
Add to that a corporate it soon adds up.

They roll out this survey every year and I never really get the point. As others have suggested, it isn't compulsory to buy pies / programmes / shirts.

There will be times when the whole matchday costs me £10 and times when it's closer to £100. I expect that's the same for most people.

Are you baby faced?  Cheesy

I didn't see any games for that price.

£0 by the way.

I read a couple of years back the average wage of a L1 player was £70k?

£110k for a L2 player sounds barmy.
