Is anyone on here a conveyancer, or can recommend one? I need to complete a land registry transfer and don't fancy travelling to Gloucester..

Awdry Bailey Douglas in bassett are I believe award winning conveyancers.

How dull would that ceremony be.

If there's one branch of the legal profession that's going to be the preserve of AI/automation in 10 yrs from now, this has to be it.  Ticking boxes.

Good luck.  I made it a life aim at the time of our last move (in 2006) to minimise the number of house moves during the rest of my life.  Horrible process.  Buy a house and then stay there.  That would be my advice (which you didn't ask for, I know...but I offer it for free.)

And pls don't get me started on stamp duty.  Multiples of £10k to the state every time you move house can't be right.
