Ok, wasn't a classic, but restricted them to very little, scored two late goals and kept a clean sheet away from home.
I think Forest Green will go down this season but that's still a great result against anyone, onwards and upwards.

No, it's not.

I did think that may have been the case, I was rather pissed off when I found skysports main event on BT Sport was more interested in stupid fucking golf than STFC and ifollow wasn't working.

What a load of shite that was..

BUT... 3 points get in.

Stayed watching as long as I could to see Cooper and wasn't disappointed....foul on the keeper my arse!

Happy as Larry with that....play not so well and win.

Not going to be pretty is it?

Matt Taylor banner next home game?
Perhaps he can teach Hussey that he doesn't have to belt the living shit out of the ball every time he takes a corner or free kick.

 Hmmm

(I do like Hussey btw but come on...)

Think how bad a loss would have felt.  I really want to win at Cheltnum.

Have to say, having SSP on the box talking about playing under Andy King was a thing of beauty, you wouldn't get that on the BBC.

OK they gave us Lee Power talkng about Jamie Cureton cleaning his boots at Norwich, but I felt this was more an allegory of Christ washing the disciples feet before the last supper.

I'm not saying Matty Taylor is our saviour but come on. Did you see the way he celebrated? I'm not goingto rely upon him but, and its a massive but. Would you have seen Brandon Ormand-Ottewille reacted in that way or Dean Parrett?. Matt Taylor knows it's his last chance or he'll be playing for Hitchin or Barrow next season. It's not the realying on him. Its the sheer enthusiasm of scoring a goal and knowing he's contributed.

****switch off now i may bore you****

I play cricket. I'm not the best. I play Wicket but I recognise my flaws. When  I catch on a Bowled and Caught Wicket or get a run out my ecstaticism is almost the same response as Matty Taylors. To realise you've still got it, you can still contribute and once the adrenaline has worn down that you are valued and you are humble (he mentioned straightaway, 3 points is more important than his own achievement). He, if nothing else, can be a valuable dressing room asset this season!

A very turgid affair. Was thinking in the 2nd half, when does the football season start.
But just remind myself that it's all about winning matches this season, then all's well.

So well done and good to see a bit of joy when the two goals went in.

Special mention for Football Phil, who before the game went down the quite lengthy queue asking everyone where the away terrace was.

Thought we put on a good honest performance which showed our obvious limitations against a team that will struggle to be in this league next season.  For me we didn't win enough second ball and at times we seemed to lose the physical battle (although it wasn't a great physical game).  Our crossing was poor and set piece play needs a lot of work on although Hussey did produce a superb corner kick for the opening goal.  Watching that I wondered what would happen if some players actually had a footballing brain to go with their talent!   Three points is three points, pity it took so long to win those points.

Miraculous, as he wasn't on the pitch.
