Randall, Traore, Lehmann (yoof goalie), Hale (GK Coach), Lindsay, Cooper. Their press officer is ex Town as well
Ah, yes....sorry, I was only thinking of players. Forgot about Randall (and never heard of Lehmann).

I've no doubt Cooper especially will be desperate for a win (but he'll try not to show it.....). I'll be looking forward to his post-match interview if we win.

Seeing the hashtag #BigDerby used by FGR fans....

Could be a problem. They are viewing this as a massive fixture and we just aren't.

Used to happen every time we played Cheltenham, and they seemed to beat us every time no matter what form we were in

Mosty because it isn't. I'll be no more gutted about losing this game than Barnet or Crawley. The FGR mentality is something we need to be aware of but hopefully a professional job will earn us the three points, but these things are rarely that simple when it comes to STFC.

We are the better team and I think we'll win but key is the first goal.

This season we have yet to win once we've gone behind and we've always won if we get ahead.

I think that's completely understandable.  And worryingly, it feels very much like our first games vs Cheltenham around 15 yrs ago after they also were promoted for the first time from Non-League...where they turned us over more than once.

Could be lively in Stroud later.  FGR have plenty to play for/prove, and the local area is also home to a good number of our fans.

Pre match parochialism in The Britannia.

Fair play to anyone who attempts the north face of the Eiger on foot to get up to the ground.

Normally quite exciting to visit a new ground.
Having to do it on a Friday night grips my shit.  Angry

Hopefully we can put them in their place in a no nonsense fashion tonight.
We all go home happy, avoid the cows on the Minchinhampton road and then enjoy the weekend.

I've been dreading this since the fixtures were released. Then exacerbated by the Sky switch.  A fresh nadir in our recent history on the horizon.
I can't see how it can be any worse than losing to Eastleigh or Histon, or any other lower league team.

Both Town and FGR are in Div 4 on 'merit'. We've been here before, they haven't.

The table and form suggests we should get something out of the game tonight. However, we've already been gubbed by Crawley and Barnet.

I'm expecting a defeat tonight but I won't see it as anything close to being a 'nadir' in STFC history.
