Having recently been diagnosed with Coeliac disease & every home game involving a 180 mile round trip from Wales eating on matchdays has become a bit of a chore to say the least. Anybody know of anywhere within reasonable walking distance of the ground that serves gluten free food? Preferably to take away rather than sit down.

Tesco's
Surprisingly disappointing choice for your 'on the run' options. Especially their savoury choice.

First place that sprung to my mind too, although never actually eaten there myself.

Are you still following a vegetarian diet, John?

Forgive my ignorance but is the Brunel Centre the outlet village or something different?

Pizza Express do pretty decent GF pizzas.. not sure if you can take away mind. I know someone who works for Coeliac UK so can ask if they have a list of vendors or anything.

Would appreciate that Tails. Is there a Pizza Express in Swindon?

https://www.coeliac.org.uk/gluten-free-diet-and-lifestyle/venue-guide/ may help. Will see if I can get more.

I think so. I don't live in Swindon but there used to be one in old town and one in the outlet centre!

Best bet would be to head to the Regent Circus area which is a 15 minute walk to the ground. There you have the chains like Prezzo, ASK (Italian chains), Nandos, Gourmet Burger Kitchen, Rendezvous Express (oriental) and a Pizza Hut takeaway which all have gluten free menus/options.

Still eating seafood occasionally.

You can take away pizza from Pizza Express. The Swindon one is at the top of Victoria Road.

Cheers. Seems to be a decent selection there.
