First visit was in Jan 82, FA Cup 3rd round.
They had David Moss, Shakey Jakey in goal plus a young Chalky.
Lost 2-1. Referee Alf Grey did for us that day.
Although town fans did wish Eric Morecambe a speedy recovery with a chorus of "let's all have a heart attack"
Old Bill found it funny.
Looton had a good side back then, loads of internationals and they had the younger brother of the recently departed Steve Aizlewood playing for them that day too, Mark.

A good day out despite the result, Ivor the engine Emmanuel scored for us that day.

And yes its a funny old ground is Kenilworth Road.

That's a lot of strikers.

That's a lot of strikers.

Maybe attack is the best form of defence, but that side looks completely unbalanced.

Interesting selection.
Gone with pace up front.

Dunne & Elsnik will have to work very hard today.

Sheehan, Cuthbert, Collins and Mccormack all starting against us today.

Very attacking set up, could well be a 424 by the look of that line up.

Have to agree. If we win it's genius, if we lose it's madness.

3-4-3 or 4-2-4?

Either way, it hardly addresses the problem of getting overrun in midfield.

Shit or bust, I guess.

Wonder if that is a traditional 4-4-2, doesn't look particularly strong as a 4-3-3.
