08.38, first game of the season and somewhat surprisingly no one has started one yet unless I'm going blind.

My extensive research reveals the following...

Carlisle is in the North West of England. Geographically it would make more sense for them to play in Scotland.
It has a castle.

I'll go 1-0 Norris

But I'll take a draw if offered it now.

2-0 loss, going to take a week or two to gel, long term in the play-off positions by November and pushing for promotion after Xmas.  Dream on!!

Easy 3 points. An absolute pummelling. And the fact I've got £50 at 11/5 has nothing to do with it!

I am not going. I am hungover and want a full English. I have no idea what the result will be. I'm not even sure who most of our signings are. I will try to listen but will probably just listen to the cricket and follow the game elsewhere. Good luck to those making the journey

They've got 3/4 key players out through injury.

I'm going to say 3-0 Swindon.

Carlisle - Swindon 1-2 would seem to be the most likely score today.

1-2 win. Late turnaround after going a goal down in the first half.

Thank fuck the football is back. Been a long summer  Pint

Don't be fooled by this ruse... last season we went to Spotland a ground where we'd never lost a league game. So say, Dale had so many injuries they could barely field a team.  We lost 0-4  Sad

Pre match avoidance of Scottish banknotes in The William Rufus.

A welcome break from punk rock in Blackpool to watch Flitcroft's new wave.

Performance is more important than the result today.
Hopefully some battling qualities have been instilled during pre season.

Wonder if the locals still nip 10 miles up the road to indulge in a bit of occasional cattle rustling.

Hope those that are driving up have a safe journey and manage to get here in good time.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

They were poor for the last third of last season, haven't added many in the summer and have 3-4 injuries. Expecting a win.
