Little snippet about Flitters in a Guardian article about Chris Kirkland and his struggles with depression....

Quote
Bury were hugely supportive and the club’s manager, Dave Flitcroft, showed why he is cut out to be a leader of men. Flitcroft told him to get away, take his time, seek help but, Kirkland being Kirkland, he decided to give it one more try.

He seemed to always be injured. Saw him play for the England U21s against Macedonia and he went off injured after 25 minutes. Nobody was surprised. Francis Jeffers scored a hat-trick, two of the goals looking a mile offside.
