Only discussing horrible away kits and goalie tops at work this week and how the templates generic kits are horrible. I love kits that are different - so like the look of the away one. Although hate kits that have patterned fronts and plain backs |

Did anybody stand out?
1st half: I thought Hussey did well getting forward from left back and putting good deliveries. Slew worked hard and showed a few good touches. Goddard did OK, as did Thomas. Can't really judge the back line, did what they had to but didn't have much to do. 2nd half: Not as good. Was not impressed with cece whatsit, seemed none to mobile and a little unsure (Vigs talking to him a lot). Maybe that's hash, maybe he's not fully fit, maybe there is a lot more to come. Not sure what else to say, first game back, good workout but ultimately very comfortable. Lots of changes and a convincing win. |

Spent almost as much time queuing for a beer as I did watching the game but from what I saw we could be in for an entertaining season. Style of play is much faster than the last few seasons and we actually looked like a well drilled team, despite the fact it's very early.
I know you can't gauge anything on a pre season friendly against non league opposition, but I'm looking forward to the start of this season much more than I was to the last.
