Anyone seen him play/know what type of CB he is?
I'm sure I must have seen him play... but don't remember anything. I'm sure he's just the sort of Div 4 journeyman stopper, that we need. In deed I have seen him play... Chris was propping up the Vale rearguard when we put 5 on them at the CG and 3 at Vale Park. More importantly he was part of the Torquay side, that beat PdC's Div 4 winning side on a Boxing Day a few years back. Shaun Taylor was Lingy's assistant, and I doubt he'd pick someone who didn't offer commitment.

Interestingly he only started 13 games for the dons last year. Not sure whether injured a lot or just not in favour?

out of favour, he came in for an injured player but once he returned, Roberton didn't get a look in. It's too early to say if he will be what we need but has lots of experience at this level, old enough to know the game well so optimistic that he will shore up our defence alongside Conroy.

Liked the look of Conroy a lot and an experienced pro next to him should help with his development as well.

I'd forgotten about Conroy... he could be TT's one success.

One swallow doesn't make a summer but an experienced centre back is a great start.
