sadly probably not quite. Think it will be close but without couple of Bristol Rovers 2000-01 style collapses from others around us don't think the Great Escape is going to happen. Probably be sealed when Norris blazes over chance v Charlton that Ajose would have snapped up.

The difference is 00-01, we were on 48 points with 4 games left, and of the 4 games left, we could muster 4 more points to get the magic 52. Winning games when you're not very good is difficult, it's why you get into trouble in the 1st place, as Rovers found out. Likelihood is that we'll get something like 4 from the final 4, and end up with 47... not enough. |
