It looks inevitable that we are going down. So which game will be the final nail in the coffin?

I fear we've just had it.

Do you mean mathematically?

Yeah, mathematically I suppose. No other way to look at it. At the mo we can still do it but at some point it's game over.

I hope it's at the CG so the crowd can make their feelings known. When was the last time we were mathematically relegated in a game at the CG?

Our goose has been cooked for a while.... there's been a number of games where we might have been able to turn it around if we had a side remotely competitive for the league and so could win a string of games in a row. To that end last Saturday really was the clincher... the equivalent of 05/06 Roverum.

I actually think it was Rovers at home.

The rain off and the decision to charge full price for the replayed game turned sections of the crowd against Power & effectively the team. We started losing regularly after that & haven't really recovered.

Really? To me the whole gate-gate thing just seemed like a stick to beat him with by people who already had a big problem with him.
Performance wise you're not wrong though. Sadly. We started that game so well, I wonder what could've happened..

We were losing regularly before the Rovers game.

We'd lost a few, the Bury game was unfortuate, but the little spell of losing home games on the spin set the alarm bells ringing.....what was needed was a run of wins to balance up, it never happened.

Totally agree Posh Red that was the game that did it for me and added pace to the Anti Power Brigade snowball which has been growing ever since.
