Lets enjoy today.

We won an absolute must win game.... relief rather than enjoyment. Much sterner tests ahead.

Williams:
- Both teams trying to win
- We made break though which made it more difficult for Cov to come back
- Goals: Two great deliveries into the box and two good finishes
- Majority of goals are scored by poachers in the box. Thats why we needed good deliveries
- Expected Coventry response. Talked about how they would do it at 1/2 time
- Hope we have learned a lesson and will be able to go forward and build on it
- Difficult to play against Obika due to the position we play him. Do the midfield or defence pick him up? Seems to work well. He comes deep and can take the ball to feet from our defence.
- Difficult for Coventry sharing with a rugby club.
- Know Coventry are down there with us. Teams around us have won, so we have kept up with them.
- Need to push on.
- Jones injury: Will assess over 48 hours
- Nice to be in a position to be able to afford to be able to take him off
- Kasim: Had a scan. Feeling pain in his ankle.
- Take a lot of encouragement from a good performance against Oldham. The only bad thing was we didnt score. Good performance to day and scored. Disappointed we conceded at the end. Hopefully these performances will build confidence
- We have fallen at too may hurdles. This was a banana skin today. The type of attitude shown today is what is needed. So many players are learning. He then talked about psychology of how to improve.
- Discussed how good Turnbull was for us.
- Hylton: No change. A club matter. There is a process taking place. Williams wants it sorted soon, but wants it done properly.

Ok, great result.

Thinking ahead to Tuesday and although I like him, hope Branco is on the bench and we stick with same starting lineup.

Possible signs of life since William's given full control of team selection.

Yep. Nicky needs to go on a roll now and get up to double figures.  I think he might be the third player to score for us in 3 different spells.

I certainly feel more optimstic than I did 2 weeks ago. Ajose scoring is a massive plus, his goals could keep us up. Wins need to get rolling now.

Scoreline aside, does anybody know how well (or otherwise) we actually played?

We weren't staggeringly brilliant today but it was one of those decent performances against a truly bad side that was more than enough for the 3 points. All 3 goals came from beautiful deliveries in the box by Gladwin, Colkett and BOO and expertly finished by Obijose on each occasion.

I was a bit worried at 60 minutes as we looked dead on our feet as Cov pressed us back but we got the all important 3rd goal at a great time. It was funny that Cov scored in the 1st minute of 5 injury time minutes but you still sensed we could fuck up and get a draw!

Not going to get carried away, Cov were abject and at times our defence looked shaky. But we got the win and if we follow that up on Tuesday, we can get out of this.

Man of the match for me was tough as nobody stood out, I thought Obika probably shades it, strong, great in the air and on the ground and a brave header for his goal. A few we want power out chants at 0-0 and 3-0 which I think are foolish bearing in mind we were in the huge white elephant of the Ricoh arena spanking a side who have had the heart and soul ripped out of their club, a real shame what has happened to Coventry as their fans are good people. We chatted to a couple who haven't been since Highfield Road got knocked down, which is pretty sad.

Onto Tuesday night!
