Anyone going?

I'm on the 11:03 out of Euston. Might have to make an effort to go to the casino at the Ricoh, owt else to do there?

I've actually done that to one of my cats before. It's a fun and not at all smelly job.

I saw we've sold out. I guess they only gave us 300 tickets or something?

Coventry has been a happy hunting ground for us since the early 60's.

Home and away we have 5 wins and 4 draws against them in the last 9 meetings.

Home and away since 1965 we have had 8 wins, 6 draws and only 2 defeats in 16 games.

Away at Coventry we have not lost there since 1964, 6 games 3 wins and 3 draws.

I enjoyed the Ricoh when we played them last season, too nice a ground for this league anyway and most of their fans seemed quite friendly too. They may have got their minds set on a Wembley appearance in a month vs Pox or Luton, they have sold 20,000 tickets already and there is a bit of a buzz around the city at the moment.

Having a read on their forum, for a team rock bottom of the league and 5 points behind us they are extremely confident they will beat us.

Their form in the league in the last 7 games has been identical to ours with 1 win 1 draw and 5 defeats. Over those 7 games they have scored 5 and conceded 12 whereas we have scored 4 and conceded 8.

Recent history is on our side for tomorrow at least but I think it will be a 0-0.

I'm surprised there isn't a joint anti owner protest tomorrow.

I'd like Cov to join us in Div 4 next season, so a draw would at least keep them below us in the battle for 24th.

Flipside, our "fans" who desperately "want their Swindon back" could do with looking at Cov and thinking about where we might be a) without Power coming in and removing Jed and b) what can happen if they get their wish and he goes....
