Ince made a massive difference. Shame it's taken until now to get a player with a bit of bite in midfield.

2 points dropped based on the number of shots we had.

Williams still wouldn't have picked him until now though......

What a disappointment . . . again!!  First half we were easily the better side and should have been 3-0 up.  Williams obviously delivered a dirge at half time that sent our players to sleep,  could easily have been beaten by a shit side who, in the second half, demonstrated that they wanted it more than us!!

Anyone hear and want to repeat Williams comments today? Or did those that listen fall asleep like our players too?

Probably one of our better performances.
First half was pretty good. Ince was a beast. Moved the ball quickly and tried to utilise our pace with Brophy the best outlet.
Created a fair few chances, but Oldham missed a sitter just before half time.

Second half we started a bit slower, degenerated, got worse with the subs but still missed a couple of good chances.

But none of that matters, 0-0 at home against Oldham isn't what we need given the context. A missed oppertunity.

Thought Thompson and Boo were poor today. Everyone else did OK with a mix of good and poor.

Nice to see the anaesthetist working his magic at half time again. Genius fucking subs too. My 12 year old looked at the players slumped on the pitch at the end and said "That's a relegated team". Wanted to argue too early to say that, only February, points to play for etc but didn't believe it myself.

Embarassing that a 12year old is so knowledgable compared to the majority of our fans!

Momentum, or lack of, is intangible but you know it when you see it even when you're 12. The only wonder is how or why Power et al can't see it. Perhaps he does and doesn't care but reality is we're on our way down.

It is the reality. We are screwed.

Yet something in me still thinks if we beat Coventry and Gillingham...

As things stand, there could be just 1 division in between us and Chippenham next season. Frightening.

Think that's a bit unfair to the majority of our fans, but it was more the dugout I was worried about.

I got it.

The lack of activity tonight suggests the towel has gone in for many.

There were a few flashes of Chris Kamara in Ince's performance. If he can get some Macari fitness levels he might make a difference.
