Novak could well be a better player for them than Doyle is.

Donohue co-conspirator and STFC-rumour Jacob Mellis goes from Mansfield to Bolton on a free.

Can you imagine the huge MEH if we'd signed Novak? He'll be good in the conference in 18 months

Head over to Bradford's Twitter. They've just kept their fans waiting for over an hour to announce Kurtis Guthrie from Stevenage. It's a fun read.

I was thinking earlier, it seems very like some seasons for STFC.

Can you imagine if our window had been something;

Out - Woolery
In - Admiral & Palmer

Which would've been very realistic in the past. It's all gone very much "Elliott Benyon" for them. Although I still think they'll be ok. Let's face it, we've been there in even worse circumstances.

I reckon they've fucked it personally. Now have Donaldson, Novak and Guthrie as striking options. All on the large side. All struggled to score goals in recent years.

https://bantamtalk.com/index.php?threads/get.3573/ sums up the general mood.

Will do well to cling onto a play off place in my opinion.

I still think Bradford will be alright. They've brought in players that suit their style.

Oxford fans fuming over selling their 2 lads. Think they were sold the "we've got money and we're going for it" line. Tiger did the same thing at Reading whilst simultaneously tightening the purse strings...

I see Salford are really going for it.

Just signed ex Man Utd youngster Darren Gibson until the end of the season, he won't come cheap.

Quote
Salford City have signed former Manchester United midfielder Darron Gibson on a short-term deal until the end of the season.

The 32-year-old has been training with the Ammies this term after his release by Championship side Wigan last summer.

After beginning his career with United, Gibson moved to Everton in January 2012 and later moved to Sunderland.

After joining Wigan last season, the Republic of Ireland international made 18 appearances prior to his release.

I mean, although Gibson is a 'name', I dont think this is quite the same as the usual 'fairytale' signings.

He should be decent enough at this level though.

Fair play to them, they're spunking a lot of cash to finish mid table

Wasted a couple of quid on them a couple of weeks ago,  got 40-1 on them for promotion,  no chance with the auto's but felt there maybe an outside chance they could come with a late run and go up via the playoffs, especially with the money they've spent. Would kick myself at that price had it happened and I hadn't backed them.
