To appreciate the full delusional state of some sectors of our support you only have to view that Facebook group. I'm not saying they all are, but fuck me there's some....
I popped on there last week for the first time in month....I soon regretted my decision.

I use the group to laugh at them

Quote
"We want Power out"

"ok, what happens if he goes"

"don't know, but better than Power here"

"who will buy players, pay the bills etc"

"Don't care, just don't want Power here and someone will buy us"

The one idiot keeps saying Power should put the club for sale and someone will buy it, but last time we went for sale, how many put the hands forward? and we ended up in the shit with Jed.

He also keeps saying we are a premier league club stuck in L1 (because we had 1 season there) and we should never be in this league playing with teams like Scunthorpe.

It really passes the time when I am pretending to work  Cheesy

kid you not, if you even say one nice thing about the club you are a "happy clapper"..... the guy is a moron but has a band of merry men who follow his gospel...... he says he has evidence Power is taking "millions from the club" but can't provide the evidence because the people he knows would lose their jobs or some shit.... The guys "stories" are fricking hilarious

We are not a Premier League club in L1, Jesus we're not even a Championship club in L1. I'd say we are a top half L1 club currently under performing hence why we are in the bottom half.

Off topic slightly. Made me laugh the other day- had radio on discussing the fa cup replays when I heard a presenter say that Bolton were a sleeping giant if ever there was one. Eh?!

I don't think it's an outrageous statement.

57th in the all time list, around mid table in the third tier, in fact, exactly that point.  So we are just below that right now.  Bolton are 18th, so it is in fact quite accurate.

Apparently not as outrageous as I first thought. However stats are there to be twisted, glory in their early days for example, if you did a last 50 years league table Bolton are 30th and we rise to 48th!

Useful point for Bury tonight, but it keeps the Burslem Boys on the edge of things.  Vaughan 6 goals in 2 games.

O for a goal scorer. After those two games he would be twice as many as our current leader. Embarrassing. He is one of those how the fuck did he end up there players, 14 in 20 games for them now.
