Don't cop off with the tasty lass from the girls' school 6th form and expect your girlfriend not on the same school trip as you not to find out about it when you get back home.

Go and look at the Great Gate....and whack a bit of Mussorgsky on the headphones. OK it is a bit of a reconstruction, but so is Avebury and Stonehenge.

Really?  You denied yourself the chance of going native....in the words of Lennon and McCartney

Well the Ukraine girls really knock me out
They leave the West behind
And Moscow girls make me sing and shout etc....

The locals are Katzapy.

The women are certainly beauties, until they become babushkas.

Yeah, I have. But it was over 30 years ago when Kiev was still part of the Soviet Union and I was a 14-year old kid who was slightly distracted. Which is why I couldn't remember anything terribly useful to tell you. Sorry. From what I do remember, it was Mediterranean-style weather and a nice place to be on holiday. Fuck knows what it's like now though. Might also be worth bearing in mind Ukraine is still involved in a low-level war with Russia which might make Kiev a slightly less relaxed place for a holiday.

I went about 6 years ago, it was a beautiful city. No idea how much it has changed. Locals drank vodka by the gallon! The main square where the Orange Revolution took place has a shopping centre under it. Watched a dynamo Kiev league game, don't go in with the ultras. Racist as fuck.
