I think that i have a fairly decent knowledge of flags, a bit random i know but anyhoo. I took this little quiz and scored a respectable 112 out of 197. How can you do? There's a 18 minute time limit. No cheating! You can pause the quiz which i only use to confirm spellings.

Like most kids, flags were sort of 'my thing'.

Did you have an Observer's Book of Flags # 29 in the series first published 1959?

No. But I remember being most annoyed by dissolution of the Soviet Union. More flags.

One more reason, alongside the rise of Chelsea, to lament the breakaway from the bosom of mother Russia.
