the earlier the better really.
it's not panic stations until the window looms, but a feeling of ladtminute.com deja vous during most of January wouldn't be great. we need them up and running asap.
still wouldn't be surprised to hear announcements tomorrow. based on blind optimism..

What worries me is that it's been evident since mid October/ November that we have needed to bolster the squad. First couple of months, you could have said it's a slow start, but it's been clear since then that the squad is struggling in this league.
Other teams have already made signings, our lastminute.com tactic in August didn't work.

wait for the posts of that we are going backwards, doing it on the cheap again etc........ Gladwin would add the little bit of grit and quality we miss in midfield, still need 2/3 defenders and a striker (poacher type). Hylton is more of a wide midfielder than a forward imho. |
