whats your laptop spec? As with the previous FM's you can chose the size of database based on PC performance.

Finally got this yesterday so just loaded it and trying it out, the graphics do seem a bit smoother and the gameplay is a slight improvement over 2016.

Looking for some good players to sign, of course, scouted the players mentioned earlier and all come up as 3 star apart from Spence and Walsh, Spence won't join as he wants 4k a week and wont budge, made an offer for Walsh. Samid Yesil wants 7.5k a week...he can fuck off!

Luckily my rather good FM2016 tactic runs well almost out of the box in 2017 and won my first 3 friendlies 3-0 each. Obika is a beast with 5 goasl in 3 games as is Jordan Stewart so far anyway.

Try and sign Joey O'Brien on a free at the start of the season got player of the season in league 1. Beat MK dongs in the playoff final. Obika and Delfouneso scored lots for me. Sold obika for 3.5m next pre season to Cardiff and signed Sam Gallagher from Southampton. Jordan Stewart is class.

I'm at the start of April in my second season following a play-off victory against Gillingham, a 92nd winner(!).

Currently sat 14th and the board are delighted.

Jettisoned on a free last summer:

Delf
Rodgers
Belford
JSW
BOO
Hylton
Barry
Branco

Kasim went to Rangers on a free. Norris sold to Crewe for 350k, Goddard sold to Portsmouth for 425k.

Signed:
Doughty for 450k (player of the season so far)
Izzy Brown on loan from Chelsea
Fede from Sevilla C (free)
Omer Atzili from Granda for 120k
Dan Burn from Wigan for 800k (panic buy he's shit)
Nils Teixeira on a free
Joe Riley on a free
Matthew Pennington on loan from Everton
Charlie Colkett on loan from Chelsea
Bruno Zuculini on a free transfer (he is superb but I'm paying him 13.25k p/w, worth 6.75m though so will sell him)
Jack Harrison on loan from NYCFC
Tarek Chahed on a free transfer

Seems to be fairly easy to get rid of players on loan but have had no perm offers for any player, slo seems to be difficult to get in new players on loan unless they are already listed for loan.

Just signed some 18 year old striker from Arsenal called Stephy Mavididi seems to have good stats, just playing the first game of the proper season vs Coventry after winning all my pre season games but long term injuried already to Young, Obika, Murray, Delph and Branco Sad

Have you tried offering  players to clubs? That's how I got rid of most of them. Wigan bid 600k for Barry an  Barnsley bid 400k for Rodgers needless to say I accepted  Cheesy

I offered Barry, Rodgers and BOO to teams for nothing and got no offers!

1st game at home 3-1 defeat to Coventry! back to the drawing board Cheesy
