I see Rovers did well...  Eek

Good. They needed taking down a peg.

Good point, sounds like a much better performance than on Saturday.

Quite surprised with that result, honestly thought we'd lose good away point. Hopefully we can get another draw on Saturday, I would say win but let's not take the piss.

Great team effort to withstand the onslaught at the end.
Very much appreciated by the 166 hardy souls at the final whistle.

Last ditch defending and two or three stunning saves from a cat like Vigs.
Deserved the point tonight.

Shame about the ND missed header.
Captain's performance from Obika to provide the much needed focal point in attack.

BOO was much improved from Saturday. Got into some good positions but can still do better.

Branco, very solid, didn't do much wrong and covered for Jones when needed.

Rodgers, ok, neat and tidy but very weak in the tackle.

Everyone a good solid 7/10 tonight.
Vigs excellent and MoM.

Why can't we have some nubile pom pom shaking at half time at the CG.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

The Robinettes?

Also 166 is poor, given that 150 went from Exeter to Carlisle!

166 were great, it's the rest of us that didn't that are poor, but then it's to be expected at the moment.

I went to the game (fortunate as I live near Southend) and we were extremely fortunate to come away with a point.  Southend in the last 15 minutes were all over us and it was like the Alamo at times.  Vigs was outstanding in goal, and thought Goddard played very well when running down the left, but our central midfield was non-existent, and Ranger was winning every header up front for them.  Was glad when they took him off as he was a real handful.

Anyways, a point is a point, and it's a start !!

Sounds like we withstood the coconut shy for the last fifteen.

Bit of luck for the goal....that makes a change!

So. No real obvious improvement in general performance then just a bit of good fortune.

Lets hope Vigs stays the season

Must have been an improvement if we didn't lose! All very well saying Vigs was busy but that's his job.

Strangely, there are 9 teams who have let more goals in than us - unfortunately, there are only 3 that have scored less.

It sounded as though we didn't capitulate once we conceded, which is a definite improvement.

Depending on whether or not we build on it, that could be a season-defining performance and result.

I can only go off the radio comms, but it sounded to me like we put a shift in rather than fell apart. Particularly in the second half.

Is that going to be enough long term to make up for lack of quality?  Would we have fallen apart had they scored again? Who knows.

Think we just have to take it as a sign of hope and see what happens when Saturday comes.

edit: What FlashH said.
