Seeing Architects for the 6th time tonight.

Other than that I've seen so many Ive lost count. Off the top of my head Slipknot, Parkway Drive, Northlane, Bring Me The Horizon and A Day To Remember are all on 4. Not sure I've seen any others more than that!

I haven't been to a proper gig for best part of 5 years. In my teens, early 20's the most frequent band I saw was probably Sum 41, probably almost hitting double figures.
Because of the music venues such as the Vic (not of late) and the furnace I saw quite a lot of local/uk punk bands very frequently such as [SPUNGE] and 4ft Fingers.

The Furnace used to be brilliant for that. Used to love watching the likes of Spunge, Zebrahead and local bands like British Beef and Last Nights Hero.

Only the Who and the Rolling Stones spring to mind as "more than once"

There's still an active local scene at venues like the Rolly and Vic etc.  I see a fair few of these bands, mainly through the connections to my kid's band.  Of course, a lot of covers bands, which tend not to be to the purists liking, but if you've an open mind plenty to enjoy.

I know a good few old farts who love their live music, with the same passion as when they were kids.

Cover bands get double / triple the fee of original bands so this is why there's a lot of them!

I play at the Vic quite a lot. It's the only place in Swindon now where any kind of alternative music is accepted. Whats your kids band called?

Big fan. Which one is your kid? I know the drummer quite well and did a few open mic nights with the lead guitarist too
