Remember when Wimbledon were going to be franchised to Dublin so they could still play in the English league, but home games in the RoI That's a good idea - I could walk to home games from my relatives. There's a lovely Travelodge just up the road for the rest of you.

Its completely wrong as we're 4-4-8 this season, and we were gash at the end of last as well. So no way is his record 10-14-10. That might be right for first 45 minutes on that site.

Also Neil Harris appears to have managed us in 1939 despite being born in 1977. I suppose if Luke thinks he's got problems he should look at him. It's one thing to be facing the sack for a poor run of form, quite another to be fired due to a world war breaking out

Sadly the stress of the Great Patriotic War did for Sam. Given Putin's recent manouevres, Luke might yet get that opportunity.

Well, £30 to top the tank up and drive was a better option than £100 for a train ticket.
As mentioned earlier in the thread, the general play was ok with slightly more threat up front than the Walsall game. However, Scunthorpe were just stronger and more determined all over the pitch. Iandolo and Goddard were very lightweight and contributed very little. Maybe both should have been played infield a bit more rather than stuck out wide.
Good to the see the return of Doughty and Jones for a much improved second half but the damage had already been done. Looked like 4 avoidable goals given away, sleeping at the back post for the first one, second one looked saveable but not watched the highlights back. The third and fourth were like something from a hungover pub team. Not surprised that a group of fans vented their anger after no 4 went in.
Also good to see Jordan Stewart back. I like him, doesn't stop running and not afraid to jump for headers against a defender twice his size and has an edge to him well. Would like to see him start when fully fit. Anyone that shows a bit of energy has to be good for this team at the moment.
The ref was an over fussy homer.
Wouldn't be surprised to see Scunthorpe remain at, or near the top this season. Good manager, the team can play and also get stuck in when required.
Reckon Luke is ok for the next couple of games, barring a humiliation on Friday. The players need to rediscover some pride prior to the two live games.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change? Crap!
