I'd imagine if we don't sell Henry, then the plan must be to offload Vigs in January and promote Henry for the rest of the season.

Or maybe we don't have plans to sell either just yet?

I guess it will depend on interested buyers. The goalkeeping market is not like the outfield player market.

If the keeper does a couple of good saves, then  frecs up, everybody remembers the mistake.
A " striker" can  miss chance after chance, scores the winner and is a hero.

When Joe Hart left Shrews after playing 50 odd games as a kid, he cost Man City £600,000....however the market has heated up since then, Fraser Forster cost Celtic £2 .5 mill from Newcastle. Jack Butland £4 mill from Brum to Stoke recently, and he was recognised as the best young custodian in England.

Looking at other recent England keepers...Rob Green cost WHU £2 mill from Norwich but by then he had played 200+ games and had been capped by England. Ben Foster cost Man U £1 mill when moving from Stoke as a kid.  Scott Carson cost Liverpool £750,000, when he left Leeds.

Of course, a lot of clubs now have money to spunk and say a £250,000 punt on Henry is loose change for many.
