As for hate crimes - unfortunately if you ask more questions, you often get more of a 'problem'. Britain today is a far more tolerant, pleasant place to be than at any time in it's history. On the whole we are a tolerant bunch, but if you push people too far they will break. Some issues are self evident, yet never given credence by the elite. Why is there no housing - possibly because of the huge influx of people into the country?

Degrees of bigotry can be established by governments and religions, which are not necessarily wholly reflective of individuals within a society.

 So for example back in August 1964, Peter Allen and Gwynne Evans were hanged for murder in Strangeways, the following week STFC got beat 6-1 at Bury, not far away.  Both events very much within my lifetime, however I'd hazard a guess, a majority of people in the country would still be in favour of capital punishment for murder.

Whereas we lost Norman Oakley early on to a broken arm, and because no subs allowed played most of the game without a keeper. I don't suppose many would favour returning to the days of no subs.

Actually it's not that many people, it's just that they are very loud and very insistent so it seems like a lot of people.
