Said player will be replaced with another so 11v11 while he is suspended, with a significant amount of time left as per Tuesday we play 11v10.

That's weird, but ideal.

We benefited from losing him for that game but now he's free to face our league rivals.

Always baffles me how people bay for the opposition to get carded when it's likely only going to benefit other teams when they get suspended and not us.
Maybe something to do with the man advantage we would then have....

Then it's because we'll no doubt get carded for the same offence 2 minutes later, or because we have been already, or because we have been carded for something that shouldn't have even been a foul 2 minutes ago.

It's built in, it's about winning battles every few minutes that add up to the 90, it's about lauding it over the opposition fans for 30 seconds here and there.  One yellow can easily become two very quickly, Dean Gorre is the finest example I've ever seen of this.

The Migs second yellow for the keepy uppy was memorable.

Paul Danson at his finest.

Does it at least get downgraded to a yellow? Otherwise Furlong is the only one punished for the incident

Their lad didn't deserve a red, though

Worst reffing performance i ever saw. He'd been concussed, at Palace I think, the previous weekend and didn't seem to have recovered. One bizarre decision after another. The opposition manager (who was it again?) got sent off for laughing at him. Surreal night.

Danson in the Dark, that night takes a bit of beating, and in all honesty I doubted I'd ever see worse, that is until Mr Breakspear v Bury a few weeks back.

Bournemouth away the year we got relegated under the Wilson / Hart combo probably comes down as one of the worst for me. The guy did nothing right all game.

I'd forgotten about his concussion, but it was like Basil Fawlty, meeting the Germans.

This was also the game which the TV series 'Brainiacs' tried an experiment to see how many people it took to start a Mexican wave.
