No wonder our players are confused listening to this gobbledy gook.

Yeah. Referring to Spotland as the Crown Oil Arena is confusing me.

I just read this as Keith Hill has been there a while developed his players and its now paying results - ie leave me alone and it will come good as long as we stick together.
The second part is justifying the lack of physical presence in his team and effectively saying they've been kicked off the park in each game.
Quite straight forward really. Not gobbledegook in my eyes.
in my view, the first part may or may not come good. I doubt it but a couple of wins and I would happily change my view like most fickle fans.
As for the second part, its part of the game and when you have a disciplinary record like ours its difficult to moan too much. I'd love to have a proper hard man in the team. Most teams are able to balance beauty with the black arts. Under Ardiles and Hoddle we had a few who could kick the player as well as kick the ball.

What's wrong with what he said?

It is a bit Brentesque, but only to be expected. Hopefully we stick with 4-5-1 tonight and set up for a point in the hope of nicking something. Given the situation we're in fully justified.

I liked this quote, “They try to work out what’s best for them and they change players’ positions a lot to see if they can come up with the perfect system.

I was under the impression the majority of managers do this

I can't remember the last league win under lights, hope tonight is an exception but I'm not very optimistic. A draw would be fine for me.

I've a lot of time for Keith Hill and the Dale. Yes, just the sort of boss we need.

There's been a lot of problems for the good people of Rochdale to contend with in recent times...a crying shame for the place that gave us The Co-Op, Gracie Fields and Lisa Stansfield, so if the club can do something to bring a bit of community back, all well and good.
..........but please don't start until tomorrow.
