Give Hylton a go on Tuesday night and see what he does.. with 2 goals in 11 league games from our strikers it can't get much worse?

Who are we playing on Tuesday?

We'll certainly be hearing that it's a 'game' if we lose...

Fuck Tuesdays tin pot game, is it true that our game is a 1pm KO on Saturday vs Bolton?

Thanks Batch, I see Tans said there should be a stream available too which would be good for those of us not able to go.

The outcome of Tuesday has no relevance to Luke's future.....we cannot afford to take the game seriously and pick up injuries, cards etc.  Need to make the maximum number of changes, and treat it as a friendly.

We need to get as much game time for the youngsters as we can and make as many changes as we are allowed IMO. The last thing we want is more injuries and silly bookings form a pointless game despite it being against THEM.

Bookings don't count to the league - agree about changes but not wholesale, the last thing we want is to be on the end of a severe beating that would probably kill what little confidence is left, so a battling performance winning or losing on penalties would be slightly better so need a few of the more experienced pro's rather than too many less experienced in there.

I suspect that if we were to give them a tanking it would buy him some breathing space with certain areas of the support?

I think so, and conversely a loss to Pox and Bolton could be the beginning of a more vocal distain.

Bolton are without their 2 creative midfielders and 5 strikers - hence their dreadful recent run.

It's not just us who get wholesale injuries.

They don't need anyone creative as we'll create a couple of chances for them.

No because if we were to win, it'd just be "oh it'd the EFL trophy, not a proper fixture".

No need to ruin the guys career.

Just an assault similar to his on Flint would suffice. Maguire gets a smack and we get a Branco less team for a month or so. Everyones a winner!
