So, just the 1-game ban for Vigs, then. Bonus.
Can that be taken tomorrow or is it league games only?

It's the Bury game.

I'd personally rest Vigouroux for Chelsea U23 with that in mind.

Yeah that makes sense rather than just throwing Henry in at the deep end again in a league game. Let him get to know his defence, if we play our first team defence of course tomorrow.

Sadly I proved prescient again - Oxford Utd fan visited on thursday AM and professed not to be 'looking forward' to the weekend. I told him he should be as the scum always beat us (6 in a row now), and lo it came to pass. Not happy about it though... Crying

It does make sense with the proviso, that it could backfire. Posh, were taken apart by Norwich stiffs,  as were Oxford by B and H A stiffs. Our last 2 opponents, neither of whom we could beat.

So it's a difficult call for Williams....presumably he'll have some idea if Chelsea are stronger than Norwich and B and HA.

A proper drubbing might harm the boys belief.

easy, play vigs up front, Jones starts, substitute three of the other mandated first teamers after a minute.

thus the first team for Saturday have a rest, except Henry. and we stick the middle finger up at the football league.

this management malarkey is a piece of piss

.... the considerable individual and collective shortcomings (Vigs until, Nathan, Yaser and Obika are exempt).
Why is Nathan exempt? He definitely has his shortcomings - giving away penalties and getting red-carded so much highlights this.

I know we're all supposed to hold him up as a Swindon legend but giving penalties away to Oxford (even if it was outside the area....) isn't the way to endear himself to fans. He's a good player but he fucks up big time every once in a while.

I think the thing with Nath is that whole "passion" issue.. They're both equally deleterious, but if you ask a fan if you want a player to be too 'involved' or not involved enough the answer is always going to be the former.

I'm praying for a sub 1000. Would be nice for us to play our youths, as a club we will gain absolutely fuck all from this match whether we win 7-0 or lose 7-0. I will look at score updates whilst watching other football tonight out of interest I hope Williams gives this match the shit lineup that it deserves but unfortunately I can see the opposite

By shit line up I presume you are referring to the line up used at Oxford.

T-shirt time!

Think they have a missed a trick here, because its more than likely to be 7 in a couple of weeks
